This training shall become a regular part of the medical education in three Asian countries: China, Vietnam and Laos.

Aims

The aim is to detect patients' psycho-social stresses and strains early, to accompany the patients and to combat and  to engineer further therapeutic steps if required. The main focus lays both on the knowledge of a professionel doctor-patient-relationship and on communicative competences.

The network and cooperation in the field of Psychosomatic Medicine between Europe, China and Southeastasia is the first step to sustain psychosocial competence in the postgraduate medical training of particular groups of medical doctors
