Choice of Services
Regardless of how you are insured, you have the possibility to choose certain services such as a one or two bedded room or treatment by the head of the department. If you are covered by a public health insurance plan, you must pay for these additional costs if you do not have supplemental insurance. You are also responsible for the extra costs if your private health insurance plan does not cover these services. Please clarify what your insurance will cover before your admission to the hospital. Please note that all medical services involved in your care (e.g. services by anaesthesiologists, laboratory physicians, radiologists, etc.) are charged separately.
